| This scholarship program was developed by WREA to encourage and promote line workers for careers at Wyoming’s rural electric cooperatives. | |
| The Neil T. Adkins Scholarship was established by Bill and Toni Adkins who lost thier son Neil in an automobile accident in June 2009. Neil Adkins was a past recipient of the WREA Lineman Scholarship. | |
| These programs were developed to encourage youth to participate in learning more about their electric cooperatives and government. | |
