The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) recently completed a study of the economic benefits of Wyoming’s rural electric cooperatives. Looking at employment and tax revenue data from 2017, the WBC reported millions in revenue from co-op employees.

Together, Wyoming’s rural electric cooperatives have given back almost $150 million to our members and communities during the last ten years. Statewide cooperative giving numbers are from cooperatives’ records from 2007 to 2017. Numbers are rounded to the nearest dollar.
